KINDNESS IS CONTAGIOUS

From 10 to 13 November we celebrate the World Kindness Day with “Kindness is contagious” a series of initiatives organized by VucanicaMente and supported by various associations: Ciclofficina Popolare Knos, EduVita, FridaysforFuture Lecce, Hellenic Youth Participation e Precious Plastic Salento.

Usually, we imagine that we can be kind only to other people, ignoring that there exist various ways in which kindness can be practiced. For example, did you know that we can address kindness also to our planet and to ourselves?Kindness is contagious... But, first of all, we need to become aware of it. 

This is where the idea of “Kindness is contagious” was born, an initiative aimed at raising awareness and promoting kindness in 360 degrees. In order to fight the diffusion of COVID-19, the full programme will be completely online. 

Starting from 10 November you will be able to explore the kindness universe through Vulcanicamente Instagram and Facebook pages, to discover and spread new consciousness!

On Friday 13 November VulcanicaMente staff and the team of "The World We Have" will join virtually a group of students from Liceo Linguistico Siciliani for an online workshop about good practices of kindness to the planet, to others and to the self.

Moreover, at 18.30 on our Facebook page, the first episode of Sustainable A’s will be out, a podcast by Alina and Anaïs, two of our volunteers from the ESC project "The World We Have", who will tell you how easy it can be to embrace kindness on a daily basis. Don’t miss it!
