Green is easy: ''My eco shop''

Eco-friendly consumption 

What makes a product sustainable? This question, among many others, was discussed in the second episode of our podcast Green is Easy, in which we were joined by the company My Eco Shop. This business consists of a website selling everyday hygiene products that are friendly to the environment for several reasons. Many of their products are made out of local, natural resources, which reduces the carbon footprint otherwise caused by imports. Even the consistency of a product can make a difference: products with solid formulations last longer and do not require water for production, or plastic for packaging. Further, they are aiming towards zero-waste, by making the shipment of products plastic-free using FSC-certified paper. In this way, the whole life cycle of the product—from its production to shipping—can be approached sustainably.
