Green is easy | Solidarity for fashion
Details for the Activity
Imagine finding a new favorite piece of clothing and getting it for free. And no, we’re not talking about shoplifting, but about clothes swaps! In the third episode of Green is Easy, the voluntary group Solidarity for Fashion joined our podcast to share several eco-friendly practices related to clothes. A sustainable approach to fashion includes creating a circular economy of clothes, saving important resources, avoiding water pollution, and reducing CO2 emissions from transportation. This means focusing on upcycling, recycling and reusing clothes instead of throwing them away and buying new ones, which can be done by buying items second-hand, or even better: by participating in clothes swaps, where people bring their old clothes and go home with new ones. Are you interested in taking part in a clothes swap event or hearing more about Solidarity for Fashion and other green practices among local companies and organizations? --> Check out our podcast Together, let’s show the world that Green is Easy!
