Can games be a powerful tool for connecting with youth?

The "Roll for Initiative" project brought together three organisations, Hellenic Youth Participation from Greece, Fundacja Mlodzi dla Europy from Poland and Le Lab Lisieux from France with the common goal of innovation in the educational process.

The project aimed to create educational board games as a tool for learning and active participation, emphasising non-formal education and the combination of entertainment and learning.

To this end, 6 people from each country gathered in Lisieux, France, were trained on the theme of game making, tested, changed, retested and finally created an educational board game.

Through the project we:
👉Brought recognition to board games as an educational method and tool
👉Created board games with an educational purpose and character
👉Combined entertainment and education

The games designed will be used both in local actions and in European networks, enhancing education in a creative and experiential way.

The Greek team created Threadwell. A board game about sustainable fashion.

Step into the shoes of visionary designers and eco-conscious entrepreneurs as you build a sustainable fashion empire. In this game, you will gather resources, design environmentally friendly clothing lines, and develop green production facilities.
You compete to create the most influential brand while embracing the principles of sustainable fashion.

The game is available for purchase at the following link.
