Walking with the 5 senses
Details for the Activity
This July, we had the joy of experiencing something truly unique at Lycabettus Hill with the team of the Self-Care for Youth project. On a hot summer afternoon, 12 young people took part in the activity “Walking with the 5 Senses”, where sight, hearing, smell, touch, and taste became the main guides.
Through a gentle hike and a series of mindfulness exercises, participants connected with both nature and themselves, discovering the power of being present, breathing consciously, and observing the world around them.
The activity offered a rare opportunity for self-care, connection, and relaxation, in a natural setting that embraced the group with calmness and energy.
🙏 A warm thank you to everyone who joined us — we look forward to meeting again in September!
The Self-Care for Youth project is co-funded by the European Union.
