Literary Witches

In September 2025, the Hellenic Youth Participation Book Club (@literary.witches) was launched, an initiative dedicated to individuals who love books and wish to share the reading experience within a warm, inclusive, and community-oriented group.

Through monthly meetings, from September 2025 until May 2026, participants gather in different locations across Athens—chosen collectively—to exchange thoughts, emotions, and reflections on the books they read. The meetings take place in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, highlighting reading as a powerful tool for connection and community building.

The Literary Witches aims to promote a love for reading, encourage meaningful sharing and connection through literature, highlight women authors, and support small, independent bookstores in Athens. The sessions are facilitated by passionate book club coordinators, who provide inspiration and ensure the smooth organization of each meeting.

Participation in the Book Club is free of charge. In the spirit of solidarity, participants make a one-time contribution to support the HYP lending library, actively strengthening access to books and knowledge.
