Unlock Europe: Time to Move – Experiencing European Opportunities
In October, the Unlock Europe: Time to Move initiative took place, a multidimensional program dedicated to informing and actively engaging young people in European mobility, learning, and personal development opportunities.
Part of the Time to Move campaign, the initiative offered a dynamic and participatory program that combined experiential learning, creative expression, and personalized guidance. Participants had the opportunity to explore different aspects of European programs through a variety of activities:
- Cooking
Together
In collaboration with the Saffron Project and using recipes from Tasty Europe by Eurodesk, participants prepared dishes from various European countries, “traveling” through flavors and discovering European culture in an experiential way. - 1-on-1
Meetings
Personalized 20-minute meetings were held, giving young people the opportunity to receive tailored information on mobility programs, youth exchanges, volunteering opportunities, and studying abroad. - Quiz
Nights
Two knowledge and engagement events were organized: an online afternoon quiz, open to participants from different locations, and an in-person quiz night at HYP, with a prize of two spots in the creative writing challenge. - Teen
Talks at HYP
An in-person meeting of teenagers was also held at HYP, where young participants shared their personal experiences from European programs and answered questions from peers, fostering dialogue and the exchange of experiences.
Unlock Europe: Time to Move provided a comprehensive experience of information and empowerment, giving young people the chance to explore the opportunities Europe offers and take the next steps with greater confidence and knowledge.
The initiative was co-funded by the European Union and the Youth and Lifelong Learning Foundation, as part of supporting initiatives that promote active youth participation and lifelong learning.
