Going Out There
Details for the Activity
The
coronavirus outbreak tested and is still testing Europe in ways that
were unimaginable just a few years ago. On the other hand, every crisis
brings valuable opportunities. It has become clear once again that we
need to make extra efforts to increase employability and recruitment.
Looking at the educational perspective, it is evident that some of the
main priorities should be building the entrepreneurial mindset and public relations and marketing training among adult learners and
educators.
"Going Οut There" involved 60 adult workers from οrganizations from 4
countries: Fundacja Innowacyjnej Edukacji (Poland), Plattform Generation
Europa (Austria), Hellenic Youth Participation (Greece) and Eduplius
(Lithuania), in a long-term project and it involved stages that were
implemented in all 4 countries and that was focused on "personal
branding" as one of the key skills nowadays.
The objectives of the program were:
*To reevaluate the limiting beliefs among educators which suppress the
professional development of educators and get to know how to create your
personal branding strategy
*To learn and practise in using various digital communication channels
for the development of personal branding ( FaceBook, Youtube, Instagram,
LinkedIn etc)
*To exchange best practices about personal branding in the field
of adult education
*To provide participants with practical tools helpful in developing
marketing and visibility skills of diverse groups of learners
*Τo contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial mindset of
educators and their target groups *To support design communication and dissemination activities adjusted to
projects, target groups, and scope of activities
*To facilitate the building of long-lasting partnerships among participants and NGOs for future collaboration
The program was funded by Erasmus+ of the European Union.
