Seeds for Engagement
"Seeds for Engagement" was implemented from 09.01 to 20.01.23 in Algarve, Portugal and the main topics were:
- Learn about the current climate and ecological crises.
- Discover a full methodology to deal with the difficult emotions that they may trigger.
- See innovative practices to apply on groups and on your own life.
- Know useful tools and resources to engage with your community.
- Creative ways to do it!.
The educational program I participated in was an opportunity to meet unique people, learn new things and gain interesting experiences. Through the ‘work that reconnects’ method I got in touch with myself and my feelings, got close to the other participants and connected with the environment and nature. With non-formal education activities, the creation of a safe space for expression, and the learning methods used, I constantly felt safe, grateful, hopeful, and happy to be a part of this program. The experience will be unforgettable for me, I will keep every moment in my memory and heart and I will try to incorporate what I learned into my daily life. I look forward to even more opportunities like this! - Elpiniki
The experience was unique. We connected with the other participants and with nature in ways we didn’t expect. Our everyday schedule included performances, breathing exercises, journaling and through these methods came profound realisations. We also had the opportunity to visit a natural park and a hospital of wildlife animals that was operating by the hosting organization. The methodology that we worked in this project “the work that reconnects” is an amazing tool both for facilitation and personal life. - Noni
The project "Seeds for Engagement" was co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
