In April, the "Blue Opps!" Youth Exchange took place in Menorca with the participation of 5 people from Greece.

The main objectives of the program were:

- the promotion of knowledge of the risks of coastal areas.

-promoting employability and job opportunities for the youth.

-the development and use of youth skills to support coastal areas.

See below the text written by the participants of the Youth Exchange about their experience:

"We had the amazing opportunity to be part of the "Blue Opps!" project!

"Blue Opps!" is a project related to Blue Economy and Sustainability practices. During our stay here in Menorca we have had the honor of being educated in many creative and effective ways. Our journey started by getting to know each other since so many countries like Greece, Italy, Romania, Spain, Portugal and Holland participated and we fell in love with the idea. We learned about the most basic skills that the program required. The days were hard, but our nights sharing our culture and experiences were worth it.

But our story does not end here as we connected with the locals trying to inform and learn from them through many interviews in the city. In the end, we made memories we can never replace, in a beautiful place and with the most amazing people. At the same time, we've done our best to educate ourselves and others about ways we can help protect the planet by using renewable energy and innovative technology systems.
