Project: My Voice

This youth exchange offered the opportunity to participants aged 18-25 (18+ for group leaders) to develop their creativity in working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds, training and collaborating through experiential learning methods and enriching their knowledge about training young people and empowering teamwork and creativity in the workplace.

The objectives of the programme were:

👉 To enhance young people's participation through activities that promote self-awareness and personal expression. 

👉 To promote self-esteem and independence through the active participation of young people.

👉 Developing skills through artistic and theatrical activities, with the aim of improving creativity, teamwork and communication.

But what did the team say?

Manos 

The program had excellent energizers that used the outside space of the building we were located in and each workshop was carried out by a separate national team, giving the participants the opportunity to further develop their skills in collaboration, teamwork, leadership but also communication and time management, always adding cultural elements from each country and transmitting their national reality in which we discovered various differences but also many similarities between the countries. There were also 2 very memorable actions that we had the opportunity to interact with the local community of Brescia in an exploration of the city and with our participation in Brescia Pride. Over time I find that this program has more and more effects on the way I think and I am very grateful for all the participants but also for the impeccable and very passionate facilitation team of the Italian organization. A program that has further increased my interest in social and youth work and further participation in similar programs.

Georgia 

Through my participation in the Erasmus + program "I AM EVERYONE ELSE: MY VOICE" I managed to live exactly what the title of the program is promising: the international cultural unity with young people from different nationalities and the embrace of my personal voice in the context of this union. This lifetime experience became an important  legacy, as through the cooperation, the discussion and the participation in non typical educational activities i managed to realize my identity as a european citizen, as well as the importance of maintaining my own personal identity at all costs.

Smaragda and Katerina 

The Erasmus+ project "I AM EVERYONE ELSE: MY VOICE" in Brescia, Italy, gave me the opportunity to gain life experience and a more complete understanding of the coexistence of the peoples of Europe. Interacting with people from different countries helped to get to know different cultures, traditions, similarities and differences between countries. On an individual level, it helped me in my personal development as I participated in numerous educational activities that promoted the element of creativity and free expression. Moreover, through the many group activities I found out how important it is to have good cooperation, communication and understanding among the group members. I think this project is an inspiration for all of us and motivates everyone to actively participate in activities that promote the unity of European citizens.

Andromachi 

My participation in the Erasmus+ project "My Voice" in Brescia, Italy, allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of cultural diversity and the importance of active European citizenship. This project helped me develop essential skills such as creativity, teamwork and problem solving. Through artistic and theatrical activities, I improved my ability to work effectively in diverse groups, think flexibly and approach challenges with innovative solutions. These experiences also improved my emotional intelligence as I learned how to manage cultural differences and show empathy towards the uncertainties of others. Overall, the programme has empowered me to take initiative, build meaningful relationships and become more adaptable and resilient both professionally and personally.

Sofia 

Participating in the Erasmus+ program in Brescia, Italy, provided me with valuable experiences that empowered me both personally and socially. Interacting with people from different countries gave me the opportunity to better understand the importance of solidarity, equality, and cooperation—values that the European Union promotes. Daily encounters with diverse cultures enhanced my tolerance and helped me develop a more open and inclusive attitude towards diversity.

The Erasmus+ program taught me the significance of unity through diversity, emphasizing that collaboration between people of different backgrounds can lead to great outcomes. The European values of freedom and justice were evident in every aspect of the program, inspiring me to continue advocating for these ideals in my personal and professional life. Moreover, participating in Erasmus+ deepened my appreciation for the principles of democracy and human rights. Working with other young people from across Europe showed me how essential it is to actively engage in shaping a better, fairer society. This experience was pivotal and will accompany me in every step of my journey.
