It was an amazing experience that brought me out of my comfort zone and made me realise I can do anything! Yes I can go alone in a village far far from civilization to stay in a house with 20 strangers from different countries and yes it can be amazing! I'm so grateful I took the decision to do it, it pushed me to meet amazing people and make amazing connections.

My participation in the Erasmus+ program in Croatia, focused on well-being and connecting with nature, was a life-changing experience. I learned about the importance of self-care, mindfulness, and the role of natural environments in mental health. A particularly memorable moment was visiting the Plitvice Lakes National Park, where we had the chance to experience its beauty up close and listen to the soothing sounds of nature. Equally special were the evenings spent around campfires at our accommodation, discussing everyday challenges we all face in our lives.

Last week, I had the opportunity to be in a small village in Croatia, Veliki Zitnik, for an Erasmus program on the topic of contact with nature. There I was lucky enough to meet many interesting people from both Greece and abroad, to practice my English and to participate in activities that had a lot to teach me. What is certain is that I did not expect to do morning yoga in the dense forest or to look for the hammock that we lost in it. At least we found it, along with many other things that everyone found for themselves. It was an experience that will remain unforgettable for me and I really recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it but hesitates.

Beautiful and unique landscapes, gorgeous people, unforgettable moments, non-stop laughter. This is how I would describe the week spent in Croatia. One of the most beautiful and unique experiences I have ever had. Thank you very much for the opportunity, everything was really wonderful!
