In the third training of the "Hate Trackers - Trainers Edition" group, one of the fundamental issues we address is the understanding of stereotypes and prejudices. Stereotypes are generalizations attributed to individuals or groups based on characteristics such as race, gender or social class. Although they often seem innocent, they can lead to prejudice - negative attitudes or judgements towards people without a basis in fact.

During the meeting, we analysed how stereotypes are shaped through society, the media and personal experience. We discussed how these misconceptions reinforce discrimination and create barriers to equality.

The training focused on the importance of self-awareness: recognising our own biases and challenging them. Through examples and discussion, we looked at how we can promote inclusion, fostering understanding and empathy.

Fighting stereotypes requires commitment and sustained effort. As a team, we are committed to educate and inspire for a non-discriminatory environment where diversity is seen as an asset and not a barrier.
