Project: Cultural Bridges

Learning how to connect with young people in alternative ways – that is exactly what the participants got to do during the training course “Cultural Bridges”, which took place in beautiful Ivancice, in the Czech Republic, between the 25th of February and 5th of March 2025. 

The objectives of the training course were for participants to:

👉Develop intercultural competences and communication skills.

👉Understand cultural diversity and overcome barriers to integration.

👉Learn about creative and practical tools for promoting social cohesion in youth work

👉Design and implement workshops dedicated to intercultural learning.

Ainoa and Lena shared their experience of the project:

Ainoa: 

During the project, I made some of my favorite memories with incredible and inspiring people, while discovering the nuances of intercultural learning through a non-formal approach.

Lena: 

Hello! I’m Lena and I participated in the training course “Cultural Bridges” in Ivančice, Czech Republic. Such an amazing experience! From the overall view of the program until the very last detail, everything was perfect! The subject was really interesting and we analyzed it through debates and games, and through a lot of hilarious and fun moments. All participants were just lovely people, open to learning new things and sharing what they already knew, and the whole organization was so good. Our facilitators were so kind and embracing! I learned so many new things, I tasted foods I’ve never tried before, I spoke so many different languages and I created so many beautiful memories and strong friendships that will hopefully last… It was my very first experience with Hellenic Youth Participation and I can’t wait to see what I will discover next!
