Sustainability is a fundamental pillar in the fight against climate change, and projects such as "Green is Easy" demonstrate that change starts with concrete actions. In their recent podcast, members of the project explored various environmental and social impact initiatives, with a focus on education, ecological regeneration and community involvement.

One of the central aspects of the third episode was the presentation of CELEI, an organization dedicated to international education with projects in Morocco, Cuba and Spain. Their goal is to generate positive impact through experiential education, encouraging critical thinking and direct action in the communities where they work.

During the episode, several sustainable initiatives were highlighted, from European responsible consumption projects to reforestation and ecological restoration. An exemplary case is the reforestation of the Genil river bank in Granada, an effort to recover native species and improve the local ecosystem. The previous experience in the Parque de las Canteras de La Zubia, although full of challenges and lessons learned, served as a basis for refining strategies and improving the effectiveness of the current project.

One of the biggest challenges is youth participation in these projects. Although young people recognize environmental problems, the difficulty lies in motivating them to take an active role. The key is to generate a sense of belonging and commitment to the territory. Examples such as the restoration of irrigation ditch systems in Padul show the importance of connecting new generations with local history and traditions to strengthen their bond with the environment.

The podcast also addressed a deep reflection on sustainability: it is not enough to plant thousands of trees if there is no community committed to their care. Sustainability should not only be a one-time action, but a paradigm shift in how we relate to our environment. True environmental justice goes hand in hand with social justice, and to achieve this it is essential to involve everyone in the solution.
