Sustainability goes far beyond legal work
At MYLA, the whole team tries to walk the talk. They’ve made conscious choices to reduce their environmental footprint, both in and out of the office. That includes digitizing workflows to use less paper, and choosing green transport options instead of relying on cars.
Most of the team now chooses to get to work by bicycle, scooter, or by carpooling with colleagues—a habit that goes beyond just convenience. This choice is not only better for the environment, but it also saves them money and valuable time every day.
Adopting sustainable transportation offers a wide range of benefits that go far beyond simply getting from one place to another. First, it significantly reduces carbon emissions and air pollution, improving the quality of the air we breathe and helping to combat climate change. Fewer individual cars on the road lead to cleaner streets and healthier communities. Second, it’s a more affordable option than driving alone every day. By sharing rides or choosing alternative modes of transport, people can save money on fuel, parking fees, and vehicle maintenance. Third, active transportation methods like cycling or scootering contribute to better personal health by incorporating daily physical activity into routines, supporting fitness and well-being in an easy and enjoyable way. Lastly, it can actually save time by avoiding the stress of traffic jams and the daily struggle of finding parking, resulting in a smoother, more relaxed commute. All together, these benefits help create healthier lifestyles, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future.
Most importantly, these choices demonstrate that sustainability can fit easily into everyday life. For Bojan and his colleagues, green transport isn’t just a trendy option—it’s a practical, long-term commitment to building a cleaner, healthier city for everyone. Their example shows that small changes in how we get around can have a big impact, inspiring others to rethink their own daily routines.
“Green is Easy” is a small-scale partnership between Greece, Spain, and North Macedonia with varying levels of expertise in the field of KA2. This project aims to fight against climate change and raise awareness on environmental sustainability in regards to changing the view that green practices are not difficult. It is co-funded by the European Union.
