Unity is Strength
Project: Unity Is Strength
Dates: 10/7/25 - 19/7/25
Location: Majadas, Spain
The Erasmus+ youth exchange took place in Spain, giving young people the opportunity to meet participants from different countries and discover new cultures and traditions. Through non-formal education activities, participants developed new skills, communicated in English, worked together and created friendships that continued beyond the exchange. The group also had the opportunity to visit Madrid and experience life in Majadas.
The objectives of the program were for individuals to:
👉 Promote youth mobility at the European level, fostering cultural exchange, tolerance, cooperation, creativity and innovation.
👉 Have the opportunity to communicate in a foreign language, particularly English.
👉 Learn about history and develop new perspectives on democracy, Europe, employment, housing and other social issues.
👉 Create spaces for integration and dialogue.
Here is the feedback from the participants:
Nicolas:
The youth exchange in Spain was a unique experience and a journey of a lifetime. I gained new knowledge, met wonderful people from different cultures and made friendships that will stand the test of time. I’m already looking forward to the next youth exchange!
Angeliki:
At first, I was nervous about how we would all manage to live and spend time together. We learned about each other’s cultures and food, but most importantly, we got to know one another. By the end, the group had become a family and our accommodation had become home. I will always remember the activities, the shared moments and the farewell water fight.
Maritina:
The Erasmus+ trip to Spain was and will always be unforgettable. We visited Madrid and met people from different parts of the world while learning about their cultures and traditions. I still remember how nervous we were at the beginning and how emotional the final day was. I would definitely go again.
The project is co-funded by the European Union.
