Erifili’s Experience in Wroclaw
“At the end of the day, the children’s smiles and hugs, and the feeling that you’re making a difference, give you all the energy you need!”
🌍 Erifyli is in Poland and is sharing a little of her experience with us. 🤤
“Hi everyone!
My name is Erifyli, and I’m in Wrocław, Poland, volunteering at a kindergarten. My days are full of children’s smiles, games, and arts and crafts!
Working with young children in a country where you don’t speak their language is certainly a challenge, but you quickly realise that empathy, care and play need no translation. Working alongside the children, I learn every day how to be more patient and discover new ways to express myself. Adjusting to a new culture and a different climate has its challenges, but at the end of the day, the children’s smiles and hugs, and the feeling that you’re making a difference, give you all the energy you need!”
Erifyli, we wish you all the best for the rest of your volunteering experience!
