Yotuh MPower was implemented from 12-07-2022 to 19-07-2022 in Rijeka, Croatia
and the main topics were: 

  • Increase awareness of current situation and needs. 
  • Promote the active life style. 
  • Training participants in different methods of employment opportunities. 
  •  Developing ideas.

"Last week I was honored to participate in "Youth MPower", a training course that aimed to improve youth employability by teaching the participants social skills, business planning, and non-formal education techniques. For the purpose of this course, I visited Rijeka and I had the opportunity to learn many new things about Entrepreneurship, not to mention that I got more familiar with its terms and principles. From my side, the best part of this experience was the fact that I met many interesting people from Croatia, Greece, Spain, and Poland. I feel really lucky that, not only I came closer to their cultures, but also I became aware of the situation in their countries, as far as the youth unemployment is concerned. Last but not least, I would like to thank everyone that contributed to this project. Of course, this experience wouldn’t be the same without the help and support of Hellenic Youth Participation, our sending organization." Dimitra.

"Rijeka was a huge hug full of warm and kind people, willing to help you with anything you needed. An opportunity that apart from the intercultural exchanges, team-building activities, interesting energizers and the role-play games gives you the chance to actually work on something and discover new things. The topics of this project was the modern approach of skills and knowledge about the development of entrepreneurial skills in young people and also about theatrical methodologies in education. We got the chance to enrich our competencies and develop our business skills." Ioanna.

"From 12 to 19 of Huly 2022 I was really thrilled to participate in the Erasmus+ Blende Mobility Programme “breaking the unemployment barrier” in Rijeka, Croatia. It was an amazing experience that offered me the chance of learning a lot of things, broadening my horizones, making new friends, meet new people, visiting a new country and getting to know different cultures. There were participants for Spain, Poland, Greece and Croatia. Moreover, the schedule was well- structured and balanced. Interactive workshops about leadership, business planning, soft skills such as public speaking, consisted an amazing week that I will never forget. I will also never forget the workhop about job interviews, as it was really proffesional and led to specific methods and techniques. The facilitator was frinedly and open minded, having knowledge about the topic and ready to answer any questions that may arise. I would definetely suggest participating in an erasmus+ programme, with the sending greek organisation being the Hellenic Youth Participation, an NGO that is selecting the young people that are being sent to these projects through transparent procedure." "My trip to Croatia was very special. The knowledge I received was very important, the relationships I developed are very strong and the memories I created are unique. An experience that made me see many things from a different perspective. This is the purpose in the end, to educate and understand ourselves.

Would I do it again? YES!
