I Want a Job
I Want a Job was implemented from 02.06 to 10.06.22 in Baena, Spain and the main topics were:
- To take an overview of the new needs of the labor market, paying special attention on the new emerging jobs.
- Youth, entrepreneurship and technology are three factors that share characteristics such as dynamism, the ability to adapt to always more changing realities as a result of innovation.
- To analysis of collaborative finance, the existence of private financing, by professional investors or Business Angels, delve into the phenomenon of crowdfunding, or collective or mass financing, differentiating the different types of it.
"Hello, My name is Theodora, I am from Greece and I am a retired preschool teacher. I participated in the Youth Exchange program “ I want a job” in Baena, Spain from 2-10/6/22 as group leader.
For me this program was a good choice that only helped me to grow over myself, gain confidence and working experience. Throughout the course we acquired knowledge about the future employment needs, and developed small “Canvas” and “Eureca” projects.
We presented the situation regarding the labour market in Greece, we organized cultural nights and had fun. In “ NGO’S got talent “ activity, we set up a scenario and run a role- play presenting our sending organization, HYP.
Different people from many countries, gave me a perfect chance to learn other cultures and make a good friends!
Before trying an Erasmus program I would recommend. Be kind, think positive, respect, destroy the borders, have fun, share experience and try to be part of solution." -Theodora.
"My first erasmus+ was an amazing experience for me. I made new friends and learned a lot of things, it was an experience I definitely want to repeat in the near future.
Through the program, I gained a lot of knowledge on creative designing a business. It was very interesting to see each nation's different approach to our topic, as each perspective revealed the opportunities available in each nation.
Everyone who organized the program put 100% of themselves every day to pass on their knowledge and make each event a special experience for us.
Of great interest were the Cultural nights, as we got a little closer to the culture of each people, so every night was a different journey.
Definitely, the day that stood out was the last one, all so intensely pleasant and unpleasant together, everyone was trying to express for the last time to this group of people their special experience.
In conclusion, I would like to thank everyone for the special moments we experienced during these short ten days that made me feel lucky to have been a part of it." -Maria
"The project "I want a job" I participated in was a special experience for me. We spent a week together with wonderful people from different cultures, views and interests and all this diversity brought us even closer! I met people I bonded with and will try to travel to their countries to see them again. Besides the interesting topic and the activities around it, the most important lesson for me was that I learned to be a good listener and take advice from people who have more experiences than me. I learned to share moments and memories regardless of gender, religion and age of every person and to embrace all this beautiful and rare diversity of everyone."- Eleonora.
