CREATE AGAINST HATE
Create Against Hate was implemented from 07.08 to 14.08.22 in Nis, Serbia and the main topics were:
- To provide 24 young person from 8 participating countries with the skills and competences to combat discrimination and hate speech and to promote intercultural dialogue through non-formal education.
- To equip 24 young person from 8 participating countries with the methodologies of using the creative tools – concept photography and concept video to promote intercultural dialogue and combat discrimination and hate speech.
- To activate young people to get take part in the peace-building activities in their own community.
"During the second week of August, 3 Greeks who have never been met each other, participated in a training course in Nis, a city in Serbia, as for the "hate speech". Apart from the Greek team, there were also the Italian, Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian and Albanian teams. Even the cultural differences among the groups, the vibes were perfect. Even during the first day, through icebreaking games, we were feeling we know each other for a long time. The cosy atmosphere among us, helped us to make useful and creative videos as for hate speech and how to fight it. The Serbian organizers were helping us by giving us proper directions to reach a better result. Although we stayed just for one week in Nis, that week will remain unforgettable for me thanks to the emotions, friends, experiences and knowledge we gained."

"During the project "Create against hate" we had the chance to connect with people of different backgrounds and share our thoughts and experiences in a way that we finally became more respectful and open-minded.
It was one week full of activities aiming to fight hate speech, a week that we learnt new methods and that we got inspiration to fight against discriminations by working with the youth. Highlight was the last day during which we had to take photos and videos focusing on the topic of the project, a very creative session that made us connect even more with each other." -Lydia.
