Newcomp
The NewComp youth exchange program took place in Illora, Spain from August 17th to August 24th. Through this project, teenagers from 14 to 16 year olds from 4 European countries came into contact to cultivate their digital skills and learn basic things about programming. In addition, they gained knowledge about social inclusion in the field of IT.
The majority of the teenagers had not participated in mobility programs before, so it was a special experience for them.
Let's see what they had to say:
“I was extremely impressed by the close bond I was able to create with people from other cultures, in so few days, as well as how important and useful programming knowledge is in this day and age. "
"I learned how to use programming programs and how to build my own robot."
"I was reminded of the importance of using imagination and creativity as tools to achieve the desired result."
"It was a unique experience, which provided me with a lot of knowledge and skills while also developing me as a person."
The "NewComp" program was co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.
